My client is a fast-moving startup building a modern software platform, and I'm looking for an Engineering Manager with experience leading and supporting a tech team. You’ll be joining a high-impact environment where every team member plays a key role in shaping the product and engineering culture.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead the Team: Guide and support a team of a team of 14 developers, setting direction, mentoring individuals, and keeping morale high.
- Own Roadmap Delivery: Work closely with leadership to ensure technical execution stays aligned with business goals.
- Balance Execution & Architecture: Make smart technical decisions, manage technical debt, and shape long-term system design.
- Champion Quality: Drive robust testing, scalable code, and ongoing improvements in performance and developer experience.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience with either leading or mentoring, ideally in a startup or high-autonomy environment.
- Strong full-stack development background, especially with Ruby on Rails and React.
- A leadership style grounded in communication, autonomy, and accountability.
- Comfort working directly with founders or senior leadership to help shape product and strategy.
- A bias for action and the ability to keep complex projects moving without heavy processes.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to bring a team together around shared goals.
