We’re working with a local software company building a platform that helps engineers, architects, and consultants run their businesses more efficiently. From planning and delivery through to day-to-day operations, the product supports customers globally and there’s plenty of interesting work in the pipeline.

They’re on the lookout for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join their Wellington-based team, with a particular focus on backend development. You’ll be coding day to day, contributing to product direction, and influencing how things are designed and built. It’s a tight-knit, collaborative team where ideas are welcomed, processes are always evolving, and there’s room to mentor others and help shape the way forward.

What you'll be doing:

• Developing and maintaining features across the full stack
• Leading technical decision-making and architectural direction
• Working with the product team to turn concepts into robust, maintainable code
• Providing mentorship and support to other developers
• Improving engineering practices around testing, code reviews, and releases
• Pitching in with documentation and deployments when needed

What they’re looking for:

• 4+ years’ experience in software development, ideally in SaaS
• Proficiency with C#, Entity Framework, SQL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and MVC
• Experience with Azure or similar cloud platforms
• Solid understanding of design patterns and clean, scalable code
• A team-oriented mindset with a knack for problem solving and knowledge sharing
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style

This is a full-time, office-based role in Wellington, so being onsite and part of the day-to-day team dynamic is key.
