We’re working with a Wellington-based digital organisation that operates in complex, fast-moving environments and delivers work for demanding clients. They’re looking for a senior delivery lead who is comfortable taking full responsibility for multiple projects, making decisions, and keeping work moving forward without needing constant direction.

This role is about ownership, judgement, and being the person others trust when things get messy.

You’ll sit close to the work, partnering day to day with developers, designers, and technical leads. You’ll also work directly with clients, handling scope, priorities, risks, and the conversations that come with them. The focus is on creating clarity, maintaining momentum, and ensuring delivery stays on track even when requirements evolve.

What you’ll be responsible for

• Owning end-to-end delivery across several concurrent client projects
• Acting as the internal point of confidence for delivery risk, dependencies, and prioritisation
• Translating client needs into clear direction, acceptance criteria, and delivery plans
• Working closely with delivery teams to remove blockers and keep progress moving
• Managing scope, timelines, and budgets, and having direct conversations when trade-offs are required
• Spotting issues early and addressing them before they become problems
• Balancing project delivery with a product-style mindset that supports ongoing improvement
