Principal QA Consultant

Shape the future of quality in digital and AI-powered experiences

We’re looking for a Principal QA Consultant to lead the evolution of quality across a growing portfolio of digital products and next-generation AI experiences. This isn’t just about testing what exists today - it’s about rethinking how quality is defined in a world where intelligent systems create new user journeys, infinite variants, and higher expectations for trust and ethics.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll set the vision, build capability, mentor the team, and roll up your sleeves alongside delivery teams and clients when needed.

What you’ll be doing
  • Lead the QA strategy - Set the vision for QA across both today’s products and tomorrow’s AI-driven experiences.
  • Shape future practices - Explore new tools, frameworks, and ways of working to embed quality across the full lifecycle.
  • Be client-facing - Work directly with stakeholders to define QA approaches and instill confidence in delivery.
  • Stay hands-on - Get involved in manual and automated testing where needed, using tools like Playwright, Espresso, and XCTest.
  • Drive accessibility - Make inclusive, accessible experiences a core part of QA.
  • Mentor and grow the team - Guide a team of QAs and contractors, fostering curiosity, capability, and ownership of quality across the organisation.
  • Look ahead - Experiment with AI-assisted QA, mobile test tooling, monitoring frameworks, and innovative approaches to automation.

  • Strong manual testing foundation with practical automation experience.
  • Confidence in client-facing conversations and presenting strategy clearly.
  • Curiosity about how AI changes the future of testing and quality.

  • Someone who brings positivity and energy, helping lift the team around them.
