Senior Fullstack Engineer – Wellington
We’re hiring for a local software company that’s building a platform used by engineers, architects and consultants to run their businesses more smoothly. It helps with everything from planning and delivery to managing projects day to day. They’ve got customers around the world and plenty of interesting work ahead.
They’re looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join the team in Wellington. You’ll be hands-on with the code, involved in product discussions, and have a real say in how things get built. The team’s small and collaborative, so there’s space to contribute ideas, improve how things are done, and mentor others along the way.
What you’ll be doing:
- Writing and maintaining features across the stack
- Leading technical decisions and helping shape architecture
- Working with product to translate ideas into reliable, maintainable code
- Mentoring other developers and supporting team growth
- Improving development processes like testing, code reviews and releases
- Taking part in deployments and documentation when needed
What they’re looking for:
- 4+ years of software development experience, ideally in a SaaS environment
- Strong skills in C#, Entity Framework, SQL, HTML/CSS, JavaScript and MVC
- Familiarity with Azure or other cloud platforms
- A solid grasp of design patterns and writing clean, scalable code
- Someone who enjoys solving problems, working with others and sharing knowledge
- Clear communication and a collaborative approach
This is a full-time role based in Wellington. The team is office-based and works closely together, so you’ll need to be comfortable being onsite.
