Dan is the Co-Founder of Talent Army Auckland and has 15 years experience recruiting in the technology space.

At Talent Army, Dan enjoys working with the founders of early stage startups, helping them shape their hiring priorities, through to clients in the scale up stage of growth where they are looking to build out their teams capabilities

Previous to Co-Founding Talent Army Auckland with Troy, Dan headed up Talent Acquisition for one of NZ’s most technologically and digitally progressive banks, ASB. He set the TA strategy as well as managed the day to day recruiting through a time of significant change including a ways of working change towards a “spotify-ish” model.

Dan got his taste for startups in his time working in the Accelerator/ Incubation program at ASB, where a number of startups were developed and spun out of the bank into viable businesses in their own right. When the opportunity to join the team at Talent Army came up, he jumped at it.

While Dan may be one of our co-founders. He is also one of the most hands recruiters in our team. Dan loves what he does so much that he is actively recruiting all facets of roles in the tech ecosystem.

As you can see from his bio photo, Dan went to France once and he hasn’t shut up about it since.
