About the Role
This isn’t a typical software engineering role.
You’ll work directly with the Chief Product Officer to identify problems worth solving, validate ideas, build solutions, ship them into production, measure their success and continue improving them over time.
You’ll spend the majority of your time writing code, but you’ll also help shape technical direction, influence product decisions and improve how the wider team builds software using modern AI tooling.
You’ll own products from concept through to adoption, working across both internal tooling and customer-facing products with a high degree of autonomy.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Build and ship production-ready software across the full stack.
• Take ideas from ambiguous problems through to working products.
• Design solutions, make architectural decisions and own technical implementation.
• Work closely with product leadership to validate ideas and prioritise opportunities.
• Build AI-powered internal tools that improve how the wider business operates.
• Develop customer-facing features that deliver measurable value.
• Champion AI-assisted development practices using tools like Claude Code and Cursor.
• Continuously measure outcomes, gather feedback and iterate on what you’ve built.

What We’re Looking For

• Demonstrated experience building and shipping multiple software products end-to-end.
• Strong commercial experience with TypeScript, React, React Native, Node.js, AWS Lambda and Postgres.
• Comfortable taking ownership of technical decisions and working with minimal direction.
• Proven ability to balance speed with good judgement around security, privacy and maintainability.
• Strong product instincts and the ability to translate business problems into practical technical solutions.
• Practical day-to-day experience using AI development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor or similar as part of your engineering workflow.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in SaaS, startup or other high-autonomy product environments.
