  • Lead customer security audits and reviews
  • Drive application security across CI/CD and SDLC
  • Embed and mature DevSecOps practices
About the Company

Our client is a high-growth SaaS business operating in a highly security-conscious environment, working with global enterprise customers across regulated industries.

Security is central to their customer promise, with regular security reviews, audits, and questionnaires forming part of day-to-day operations.

About the Role

This is a hands-on Cyber Security leadership role focused on owning and strengthening the company’s security posture in a customer-facing SaaS environment.

You’ll act as a key point of contact for enterprise customers, confidently representing the organisation in security reviews and audits, while working closely with engineering teams to ensure security practices are embedded into how the product is built and delivered.

Alongside this, you’ll take ownership of operational security, including incident response, vulnerability management, and governance, helping evolve DevOps into a mature DevSecOps capability.

What You’ll Bring
  • Experience working in a SaaS or product environment
  • Strong understanding of application security and secure SDLC
  • Experience supporting or leading security audits (e.g. SOC2, ISO27001)
  • Comfortable engaging directly with customers on security topics
  • Experience working with AWS environments and modern CI/CD pipelines
  • Background in vulnerability management, security tooling, and incident response
  • Ability to balance hands-on technical work with leadership and stakeholder engagement
Why This Role
  • High-impact role with direct influence on customer trust and security posture
  • Opportunity to shape and embed DevSecOps in a growing SaaS business
  • Strong engineering foundations already in place
  • Collaborative, high-trust culture
  • Exposure to modern security challenges, including AI-enabled systems
In 12 months, you’ll have:
  • Established a clear, defensible security posture
  • Built confidence with enterprise customers during audits and reviews
  • Embedded security into engineering and delivery practices
  • Created a well-structured DevSecOps capability
If you enjoy being both hands-on and the person in the room representing security, this is a great opportunity to step into a high-impact role.
