About the Role
Our client is looking for a hands-on Lead Platform Engineer to own and evolve platform architecture across Google Cloud Platform, core systems, integrations, and mobile applications. This is a senior technical leadership role with day-to-day involvement in engineering, production systems, reliability, and architectural decision-making. You’ll help strengthen resilience, reduce risk, and build a scalable foundation for future growth.
  
Skills & Experience

• 10+ years’ software engineering experience, including senior architecture leadership
• Strong hands-on GCP experience in production environments
• Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and observability
• Experience with backend systems, integrations, and CI/CD automation
• Proven background in mission-critical systems, reliability, and incident response
• Strong stakeholder communication across technical and non-technical teams
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading distributed or cross-functional teams
