  • Work on SAP BW deliverables and real-time development projects
  • Collaborate with data engineers to drive insights and performance
  • Flexible NZ locations - office presence a must, hybrid options available
Ready to put your SAP BW skills to work on a project that’s actually going somewhere?

We’re after a hands-on SAP Business Warehouse Developer to help us build, optimise, and future-proof our data platforms - and you’ll play a crucial part in shaping how we deliver insights to the organisation.

Why You’ll Love This Role

This isn’t your typical “maintenance-only” gig. You’ll be rolling up your sleeves on a live environment where there’s plenty of development work to do. We’re talking about big, chunky projects: from rethinking data structures and transforming asset data to enabling smarter analytics across our ecosystem.
You’ll work alongside a small, collaborative team who are big on impact and low on politics. We’re keen on building solutions that last, not just quick fixes.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Building and enhancing SAP BW deliverables: ETLs, HANA/Calculation views, ADSOs, composite providers.
  • Developing interactive reports and visualisations in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
  • Collaborating with data engineers to feed our Snowflake data platform.
  • Taking ownership of monitoring, troubleshooting, and keeping data pipelines flowing smoothly.
  • Working closely with other SAP specialists and the broader data team to make sure what we build doesn’t just work; it’s sustainable and future-ready.
What You’ll Bring
  • Strong, current hands-on experience in SAP BW/4HANA (ideally release 755 or similar).
  • A track record of doing the work yourself; building data models, fixing issues, and not just leading teams.
  • Solid understanding of data integration, business process flows, and analytics tools like SAC and Snowflake.
  • Confidence to communicate technical stuff clearly; and a natural curiosity for figuring out better ways to do things.
We’re open on background; private or public sector experience both welcome. What matters most is your ability to do the work, not just talk about it.

Location: Flexible within NZ: Auckland, Wellington, Nelson, Christchurch, Hamilton… or anywhere with an office. Expect to be in the office at least 3 days a week.

Sound Good?
We’re reviewing CVs this week and next, so if this sounds like your kind of challenge, let’s talk soon. Flick us your details and let’s explore whether this could be the right next step for you.
