Our client is a fast-growing software company with customers spanning the globe. Their platform supports software companies, engineers, architects, and other consultants in running their businesses more effectively - helping them plan, deliver, and manage projects through a modern SaaS solution.

About the Role:

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you’ll play a key part in shaping the future of the platform. This is a hands-on technical role with real influence over how software is designed and delivered. You’ll collaborate closely with a talented product and engineering team to design, build, and ship high-quality software that’s scalable, secure, and user-focused. There’s also a strong emphasis on mentoring others, improving development practices, and contributing to overall team culture.

This is a full-time, Wellington-based role.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Designing and developing software features across the stack, with a focus on quality and scalability.
  • Leading technical discussions around architecture and implementation.
  • Mentoring junior developers and contributing to team capability.
  • Translating product and customer requirements into robust, maintainable code.
  • Driving improvements in development processes, including testing and code review.
  • Supporting deployments and documentation as part of the wider release process.
  • Staying across SaaS trends and applying new ideas where they add value.
Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development, ideally in a B2B SaaS context.
  • Proficient in C#, Entity Framework, SQL, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and MVC.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and modern SaaS architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of software design patterns and engineering best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Clear communicator with a natural inclination to support and mentor others.
