Laura started her career in the creative industry, studying Textile Design and working as a freelance illustrator (you may see some of her work in galleries throughout the country!)

After some lockdown enforced career reflection, and a strong desire to get back to working with people, she discovered recruitment.

Laura joined Talent Army in January and having come into the tech recruitment scene fairly recently, she’s really hit the ground running and focuses primarily on the development space. Though she’s got the know-how to cover all things technology.

Laura strongly believes in ensuring an excellent experience for both candidate and client by providing open communication and honesty.

Growing up in Queenstown instilled a love for all things outdoors. In her spare time you can find Laura exploring the beaches and mountains with friends, trying new restaurants/ wine bars and planning her next trip abroad.

Laura has a taxidermy pet ferret named Jonathan and he is her prized possession.
