The Role
As VP of Engineering, you are the most senior engineering leader in the business. You will be responsible for building, scaling and maturing the engineering organisation as the company enters a global growth phase.
  
You will:

• Lead and develop a world-class engineering team
• Drive engineering delivery, quality, resilience and scalable architecture
• Partner deeply with Product on roadmaps, scoping and experimentation
• Shape technical strategy across architecture, infrastructure, ML and R&D
• Own security, compliance and reliability frameworks as the platform scales
• Introduce the systems, processes and leadership foundations for a high-performing engineering function
• Hire exceptional talent and create meaningful career pathways

About You 
You are a senior engineering leader who combines strategic clarity, product thinking, strong organisational instincts and a calm, low-ego leadership style.

• Experience leading and scaling high-performing engineering teams
• Technical depth in modern web, backend, data or machine learning stacks
• A delivery-first mindset with strong systems thinking
• Background in fast-scaling or startup environments
• Excellent communication and an ability to influence cross-functionally
• Pragmatic decision-making with long-term architectural thinking
• Experience with security, compliance, data infrastructure or complex distributed systems.
