Talent Army is searching for the new Chief of OneRoof to take the reins; someone who can move between corporate strategy and startup pace, leading the business with ambition, clarity, and ownership.
The Opportunity You will lead OneRoof as a high-growth business within NZME, setting the vision, owning the roadmap, and driving execution across product, engineering, commercial, marketing, and operations.
Reporting directly to NZME's CEO, you will also be a key member of the executive leadership team.
Your mission is to sharpen the product, scale its reach, and position OneRoof as New Zealand's most trusted and influential property platform.
What You'll Do
Define and deliver the long-term strategy for OneRoof, aligned with NZME's digital transformation goals
Drive product innovation and data-led growth across consumer, agent and advertiser segments
Lead a multidisciplinary team across product, technology, commercial and marketing functions
Strengthen OneRoof's position in the property and media ecosystem through partnerships and brand leadership
Represent OneRoof publicly as its figurehead across media, news, industry events and forums
Build a culture that rewards ownership, pace and collaboration
Communicate with clarity and purpose, bringing alignment across NZME and OneRoof teams
About You You have built or scaled digital products or marketplaces, ideally in property, media, classifieds, or consumer technology. You bring commercial sharpness, product depth and strong leadership capability.
Proven leadership in product, commercial or general management roles
Strong customer insight and the ability to translate it into strategy and execution
Skilled at building and leading high-performing teams
Confident communicator who can influence at all levels and represent the business externally
Energised by creating something significant within a complex organisation
