Our client is a pioneering tech company in New Zealand. They work with over 180 businesses, including major regulators, and are dedicated to simplifying industry complexities through innovative software solutions.

About the role:
You will be joining an expanding team as the Senior .Net Developer. You will have a focus on enhancing and supporting software that makes it accessible to everyone.

Your focus will be on maintaining and improving a .NET Framework 4.8 solution as it evolves, delivering new features that will delight the customers. This role requires a self-starter who can work independently and is comfortable navigating an existing codebase with some older components.
  
You’ll also have a passion for refactoring and modernising software as the goal is to migrate the solution to more recent versions of .NET in the near future.

Required


• 4+ years of experience working with the .NET Framework (experience with
  .NET 4.8 specifically is a plus).
• Strong proficiency in C#.
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Test-Driven Development
  (TDD) methodologies.
• Experience with SQL Server and database management.
• Proficient with version control systems.

Preferred


• Experience with deployment and hosting tasks (knowledge of CI/CD pipelines     is a bonus).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms.
• Understanding of modernising applications to newer versions of .NET (Core).
