About the Role:As a Software Developer, you will be working in a team responsible for maintaining their existing suite of software and building their future capabilities in support of their core business technology systems.
What you’re responsible for:
- Undertake projects or activities as required by the business
- Write maintainable and well-factored code, following best practices
- Write Unit and Integration tests as appropriate
- Assist with incident management, support, testing and application deployment
- Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure requirements are met
- Write technical documentation for systems you develop or work on, as required
Skills & Experience: - Be a team player
- Good communication skills, written and spoken
- Quick learner
- Attention to detail
- Eager to develop your skills in new and old technologies
- A collaborative working style, but also able to stand on your own feet
- Proven experience developing SPAs (any of: VueJs, Angular or React)
- Proven experience developing REST APIs
- NodeJs, Java
- SQL
The following skills are advantageous but not required - Python, C#
- Exposure to Django web framework
- AWS services relevant to API development
- Exposure to data analytics, data processing and machine learning concepts
