An awesome Wellington based tech startup is expanding and looking for a Senior Developer for their ASP.NET back end development team.  A leader in financial reporting and planning, providing software to the largest financial consultancies in the world. 

A Kiwi born and operated organisation, they are actively expanding their international client base, leading to another year of great growth projected for 2020. To support additional users and expanding functionality, they are extending their development function. Bringing in a Senior Developer for the back end team, they are looking for someone who will be involved in the architecture and direction of the codebase and setting the coding standards for the team with reviews and mentoring. You will still be very much hands-on, with a focus on a server side C# ASP.NET Core and AWS stack. Any additional Front End technologies, particularly React, will give the team additional functionality on larger Front End projects. 

You will be a key figure in a small team of intermediate and senior developers in an environment that has all the scaling and technical ambition of a growing startup, but the stability and well-considered approach of a more established brand committed to developing ‘the right way’, with solid releases and good test practices. With a flexible hybrid work from home / office model and a progressive attitude to employee and wahanau wellbeing, there's a great environment for you to deliver some awesome stuff. 

We’re looking for a well established Senior Developer or Team Lead, working with current .NET technologies. Mentoring and code review experience will be key, as will the interpersonal skills to work with high-level stakeholders and develop and communicate technical concepts to non-technical colleagues. Experience with financial products or scaling organisations would be ideal, but not a deal-breaker.
