You will work as part of an agile product development team to identify opportunities, explore solutions and create the best products for their customers. You will create a deep understanding of their different customer groups to ensure decisions are informed by user insights and business needs and identify areas of improvement & opportunity.

Experience and Skillset:
  • Experience working with databases including query building and data extraction
  • Knowledge of relational database systems and their processes
  • Highly developed problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Embraces experimentation and scientific testing methodologies
  • Well-developed oral, written and interpersonal skills
  • Proven communication, influencing, interpersonal and report writing skills
  • Proficiency in HTML, SQL, JavaScript and or other languages would be an advantage
  • In-depth knowledge, experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Excel (pivot tables, data integration, macros, power pivot etc.) and other commonly used applications. Microsoft access would be an advantage
  • Knowledge and understanding of CRM systems and marketing automation tools would be an advantage
  • Exposure to or experience in data modelling is desirable
Areas of focus are:

Support the Product planning and development process
  • Champion the use of data and insights to inform decision making
  • Create dashboards to enable key insights to be shared across the business
  • Build, automate and maintain regular reports
  • Analyse product development opportunities to determine customer and business benefits
  • Inform product strategies by defining and updating core metrics for each initiative
  • Design A/B experiences to guide product direction
Product performance & usage
  • Identify key product metrics to drive customer and revenue opportunities
  • Forecasts and monitor key metrics and performance
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of product initiatives
  • Provide recommendations on areas of opportunity and improvements
  • Technical lead and relationship ownership of the product analytics software, including vendor escalation & support
Market Insights
  • Analyse market data, trends and behaviours, including price movements
  • Investigate and present external data sources that can improve their understanding of the market and competitor activities
  • Create, update and maintain competitor information, including functionality, pricing, positioning and changes
  • Provide recommendations on initiatives and changes to business strategies
